Former IMMAF world silver medalist, Lucie Bertaud (above, left) was pictured this week at the world renown American Top Team facility in Florida, USA, after sparring with UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes (above, right).

33-year-old Bertaud, a former European amateur boxing champion, represented France at the 2015 IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas where she earned the silver medal in the women’s bantamweight division.

The striking specialist is also known in France as a TV presenter and journalist for SFR Sport 5, and returned to the IMMAF World Championships in 2017, accompanying the French national team while producing a documentary report on the nation’s success in Bahrain.

UFC champion Amanda Nunes is currently on a seven-fight win streak with three successful defenses of the bantamweight title. On December 29, ‘The Lioness’ takes part in one of the most anticipated collisions of the year, stepping up to challenge fellow Brazilian and MMA phenom Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino for the featherweight crown at UFC 232.
