The Irish Mixed Martial Arts Association (IMMAA) will be at the star-studded FightCon Expo in Cork, Ireland this Saturday 29 February, and welcome attendees over to the IMMAA stand to find out more about:
-amateur MMA and it’s Olympic dream
– how to qualify for the National Irish Team for IMMAF international Championships
– the benefits of joining IMMAA
– the work of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF)
Additionally, the following IMMAA and IMMAF representatives will be participating in a panel discussion hosted by Lydia Des Dolles that will include topics such as the IMMAF Championships and the amateur pathway, the governance of MMA/ combat sports and athlete safety. Running from 16:50 to 17:30, the panel will include:
- Ryan Spillane – IMMAF World & European Champion for Team Ireland
- Gary Spike O’Sullivan – Professional boxer
- Liam Og Griffin – IMMAA Board representative
- Jess Isaacason – IMMAF Cutwoman
- Izzy Carnwath – IMMAF Brand & Communications Director, Safe MMA Trustee
The Expo is taking place at the Clayton Hotel in Silver Springs
